About Our Office and Practice


Dr. Wolford’s office is conveniently located near downtown Dallas on the campus of Baylor University Medical Center.  His office has a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Dr. Wolford is very kind and compassionate.  His initial appointment with you will be approximately 2 hours.  He will perform a thorough evaluation and develop a comprehensive diagnosis and treatment plan for you. This information will be explained in detail to you so that you will understand.  This one appointment is usually all that is required to determine your recommended path of treatment.  Dr. Wolford will listen to you and answer your questions.  He will prepare a letter of preauthorization for your insurance company.

The majority of patients are referred to Dr. Wolford from around the United States and internationally because of his exceptional expertise and special surgical skills.  While at Dr. Wolford’s office, you may have the opportunity to meet patients who recently had surgery as they return for follow-up appointments.  He will coordinate your treatment with your orthodontist, dentist, physician, and/or other health care providers that may be involved in your care.

Dr. Wolford performs his surgery at Baylor University Medical Center; the top rated hospital in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex and consistently listed as one of the top 100 hospitals in the United States.   He handpicked the best 5 anesthesiologists at Baylor to manage his cases.  They are highly experienced in treating Dr. Wolford’s patients.  After surgery his patients are on the hospital’s best floor in a private room so family members or friends can stay 24 hours a day.  The usual hospital stay is dependent on the procedures performed and can range from 1 to 4 days.  For any of the procedures, the jaws are not wired together.
